\n\nCheck out this recipe to learn how to make your own sugar syrup by simmering your favourite sweetener from our range (they will all work in this recipe) in water.\n\nThe end result is quite similar to the texture of sugar syrup. Alternatively you can simply add some SweetLeaf drops into water for an instant sugar syrup, although the texture will not be the same as the boiled sugar (no sugar) syrup. Make sure you water down the sweetener for this cocktail or you will quite literally end up on your ear (or somewhere else.) We recommend making a batch of the boiled syrup to keep on hand in the fridge, as it is quite like traditional sugar syrup.\n\nAre you excited about enjoying a Margarita that is low in carbs and free from sugar because we are!\n\n\nLow Carb Simple Syrup
\nMake sure you use a low carb simple syrup in your margarita to keep it sugar free. You'll find the recipe featured below for a “low carb simple syrup,” made with low carb sweetener. Doing this will dilute the alcohol a little, as there is a decent amount of tequila in the recipe. Trust us, you will be grateful that you did this by the end of the night.\n\nAs an alternative to the sugar syrup you could also use sweetener drops such as SweetLeaf Stevia Drops. Used alone the drops won't dilute the alcohol, so make sure to dilute the drops with water. Sweeten to your own taste but we recommend adding about 5-10 drops to 30 mls/1 oz of water or 1/2 teaspoon to 100 mls/3.5 fl oz water. Please note that the drops in the water are less syrup like than the sweetener boiled in water.\nFrozen Or On The Rocks
\nTurn this recipe into a frozen Margarita simply by blitzing it in a blender with the ice, instead of straining it. Alternatively, serve it simply as a classic cocktail, strained into a cocktail glass, rimmed with salt.\nPrep Time:5 minutes

\n- \n \t
- \nGently boil 1 cup of water with 1/4 cup powdered a Stevia Blend Sweetener or suitable amount of alternative sweetener for about 5 minutes. Allow to cool before use.\n \t
- \nStore in a sterile glass jar in the fridge for up to 2 months.\n \t

\n
\n\nRecipe Notes
\nUsing Stevia Drops either sweeten to your own taste but we would recommend adding about 5-10 drops to 30 mls/1 oz of water or 1/2 teaspoon to 100 mls/3.5 fl oz water. If you don't dilute the drops it could end up being very messy as your margarita will have a very high alcohol content.
