Ingredients:
\nCake\n½ cup coconut flour
\n¼ cup cocoa powder
\n¼ teaspoons baking soda
\n¼ teaspoons salt
\n4 eggs
\n¼ cup coconut oil
\n½ cup honey
\n¼ cup water, or coffee adds a great flavour
\n½ tablespoon vanilla extract\n\nFrosting
\n1 cup Naturally Sweet Xylitol
\n¼ cup cocoa
\n¼ cup coconut oil
\n¼ cup of coconut milk\n\n
Method:
\nCake\nPreheat the oven to 180C degrees. Grease your pan and line with parchment paper. Combine coconut flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt and set aside. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, melted coconut oil, honey and water (or coffee) and vanilla. Then add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix for 1-2 minutes, until well combined. Pour batter into the prepared sheet and bake for 30- 40 minutes. Test with a toothpick until in comes out clean. Cool the pans before removing.
\nFrosting
\nMelt ingredients in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until combined. Bring to a boil once combined and boil on high for 1 minute. Remove from heat and allow to partially cool before transferring into a bowl and mixing on high with electric mixer for 3-5 minutes or until texture thickens. Pour over cooled cake.\n\n
