Phirni Recipe

Ingredients

\n½ kg Milk
\n3 tbsp basmati rice - soaked for 30 minutes
\n3 tbsp of
\n¼ tsp cardamom powder\n\nGarnish - 5-6 almonds (soaked in hot water & peeled and chopped)\n\n

Method

\nSoak rice for ½ hour. Drain the water and blend the rice to smooth paste in a mixer with 2-3 tbsp milk.
\nBoil milk in a heavy bottomed pan. Remove from heat and add the rice paste, stirring continuously.
\nReturn to flame. Cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes till thick.
\nAdd Stevia and cardamom powder and keep on sim flame for 2-3 minutes.
\nRemove from heat and cool.\n\n
