Homemade or Store Bought Mayonnaise
\nYou have the choice of using homemade or store bought mayonnaise in this delicious Low Carb Seafood Sauce recipe. Follow the link for a mayonnaise recipe that takes less than a minute to make your own healthy mayonnaise. Alternatively, if you can find a store bought mayonnaise that you are happy with, simply use it. If you’ve never made your own mayonnaise you are in for a treat. I made one in a demonstration class the other day and my students timed me. It took only 43 seconds to make. That’s less effort than what it would take to buy it from a store.\n\nIf you are buying mayonnaise from the store, make sure you check the ingredients listed on the jar as most mayonnaise contains added sugar. They generally tend to use the unheathly oils as well. Probably over 95% of the mayonnaise on the shelf in supermarkets contains canola oil, which is not a very healthy oil. If possible, try to find one that is olive oil based, or uses macadamia or avocado oil.\nFree From Coloring, Additives and Preservatives
\nDo yourself a favor and next time you are in a store, check out the ingredients in a jar of seafood sauce. Seafood sauce is one of those chemical s*** storms that has an unnatural color and so many additives and preservatives. When you realise how easy it is to make your own fresh sugar free low carb seafood sauce, there is no going back! Notice the difference in color between the store bought and your sugar free low carb seafood sauce? This is natural, so don’t feel the need to try to recreate the color of the processed sauce, as it isn’t natural.\n\n\n
