Sugar Free Semi-Homemade Baked Beans Recipe

Ingredients:

6 slices bacon, chopped 1 green pepper, finely chopped 1 small onion, finely chopped 3 16 oz. cans baked beans 1/8 cup SugarLeaf 1/4 cup ketchup 1 Tbsp. mustard

Methods:

Preheat oven to 162°C. Lay the bacon out on a baking sheet and bake until crisp, about 15 minutes. Remove the bacon, dry on a paper towel and cut 6 slices into bite-sized pieces. Reserve 2 Tbsp. of bacon drippings and heat in a small skillet on the stove on medium heat. Add green pepper and onion, sautéing until golden, about 5 to 8 minutes. In a baking dish, stir together beans, bacon pieces, sautéed green peppers and onions, SugarLeaf, ketchup and mustard. Bake uncovered 1 hour or until bubbly.
