Ingredients:
\n1 cup stewed apple (about 3 small granny smith apples peeled, cored, sliced, cooked and cooled)\n230 gr margarine (I used Nutlex )
\n¾ cup Naturally Sweet Xylitol
\n¼ cup milk
\n2 cups plain flour
\n2 level teaspoon cinnamon
\n1 teaspoon bi-carb soda
\n1 tab cocoa
\n1 teaspoon vanilla\n\n
Method:
\nPreheat oven to 150C fan forced.\nLine 120cm square cake tin with paper.
\nDissolve soda in milk.
\nCream margarine and Xylitol till creamy add the cooled stewed apple give a good beat add cinnamon and vanilla then fold in flour, adding more milk if needed.
\nPlace into tin and bake in oven for about 45 minutes.
\nWhen cold ice with chocolate icing.\n\nNOTE to make this dairy free, NutlexMargarine can be substituted for the butter and almond milk can be substituted for the milk.\n\n
