Low Cal Fruit & Bran Cake Recipe

This is a delicious healthy cake that is great for people who are watching their weight\n\n

Ingredients:

\nI cup of natural (unprocessed) bran
\nI cup of diced dried fruit (apricots, sultanas & apples)
\n1/2 cup of Naturally Sweet Xylitol
\n1 cup of skim milk
\n1 cup of wholemeal self-raising flour\n\n

Directions:

\nPreheat oven to 180
\nSoak bran, Xylitol and fruit in the milk for around an hour.
\nAdd the flour and stir thoroughly
\nSpoon the mixture into a greased cake tin
\nBake for approximately 1 hour (cooking time will vary depending on the oven)
\nAllow to cool and serve.\n\n
