Sugar-Free Lemon Panna Cotta Recipe

\nThis Sugar-Free Lemon Panna Cotta Recipe is a healthier version of a traditional Italian dessert usually made with cream, eggs and honey. Liquid Lemon Drop SweetDrops gives it a makeover for guilt-free indulgence. It has all the traditional flavour minus the sugar and high calories.\n

Ingredients:

  • 1 envelope unflavoured gelatin
  • \n\t
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • \n\t
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • \n\t
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • \n\t
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt, full fat
  • \n\t
  • 1 teaspoon Liquid Lemon Drop Sweet Drops

Method:

\nIn a saucepan, stir gelatin into heavy cream and set aside for 1 minute. Sprinkle lemon zest over gelatin and cream mixture. Add lemon juice and turn heat on low continually stirring mixture until gelatin is completely dissolved and everything looks combined well. Whisk in the yogurt and lemon stevia into the pan and stir until incorporated. Grease 4 ramekins and pour mixture into each evenly. Cover and refrigerate at least 5 hours or until set. You can serve them as is in their cups or remove onto a plate and top with fresh lemon zest and a few lemon slices to garnish.\n
